Locked out at any hour? Call us and we come out to your door and get you back inside.
What do you treat as an emergency?
If you cannot get into your apartment, your building, or your business, that is an emergency to us. So is a lock that broke in the door, a key that snapped off in the cylinder, or a storefront door that will not lock at closing. You call, you tell us where you are, and we come out from Broadway.
When people call us for this
- You locked yourself out of your apartment or house.
- Your key broke off inside the lock.
- The lock turns but the door will not open.
- A shop or office door will not lock at the end of the night.
- Someone you no longer trust still has a key and you want the lock changed tonight.
How do you open the door?
We start with the gentlest way in and only drill when nothing else works. If a lock has to come out, we tell you first and we bring a new one to put in on the same visit.
What should I tell you when I call?
Your address, the door you are stuck at, and what kind of lock is on it if you know. If you can, text us a photo of the lock. It helps us bring the right parts the first time.
What happens on the visit?
We arrive with the parts the photo and the call told us to bring. We show you what is worn or broken before we touch it, do the work, and then test every lock and key with you before we leave. If something else on the door needs attention, we point it out and you decide.
Frequently asked
Do you really come out at night?
Yes. The phone line is open 24/7, and night lockouts are a normal part of the work for us.
Will I need to show I live there?
Yes. We ask for ID or another way to show the place is yours before we open the door. A super or a landlord can vouch for you too.
Can you change the lock after you open it?
Usually, yes. Tell us on the call and we bring a new lock or the parts to rekey the one you have.
