We repair and replace intercoms and buzzers, so tenants can let guests in from upstairs.
What do you fix?
We work on the whole entry: the panel outside, the handsets or stations in each apartment, the wiring between them, and the electric strike or lock that opens the door when someone buzzes. Walk-ups and three-families around Bushwick often have systems that have been patched for years, and we sort out what is actually wrong.
When people call us for this
- The buzzer rings upstairs but the door does not open.
- One apartment cannot hear the visitor, or the visitor cannot hear them.
- The outdoor panel is broken, cracked, or worn out.
- A building wants to replace an old system with a new one.
- Deliveries keep getting stuck at the front door.
Repair or replace?
If the panel and wiring are in good shape, a repair is often enough. If parts are no longer made for your system, a new one makes more sense. We work with brands like Akuvox and Comelit, and we give you both options when both are real.
How do I get a quote?
Call us, or text a photo of the outdoor panel and one apartment station. You get a written quote before any work starts.
What happens on the visit?
We arrive with the parts the photo and the call told us to bring. We show you what is worn or broken before we touch it, do the work, and then test every lock and key with you before we leave. If something else on the door needs attention, we point it out and you decide.
Frequently asked
Can a new intercom work with fobs?
Yes. Many new panels include a fob reader, so residents use a fob and guests buzz up.
Do you work with landlords and building managers?
Yes. We are glad to walk the building with your super, manager, or landlord.
